Handmade Beef Tallow Skin Care Products

I discovered tallow about 5 years ago while searching for healthy nutrient dense skin care for my family. In order to know 100% what was going on our skin, I decided to make my own skin care products. There is so much green washing and uncertainty in what "all natural" means in the big box brand world.

I did a lot of research and determined the healthiest option for us was for me to learn to render my own tallow.

I shared tallow products with family and friends, and with their encouragement, I decided to branch out and offer my products to anyone interested!!

I'm not a big company; it is just me. I source the ingredients, render the suet, and create all the products on my own. I am a nurse by education and work only on the weekends. I use my time during the week to make the tallow products while my 3 girls are in school.

My father owns a catering service, and I am lucky to use his health department certified kitchen to make my products and have my own dedicated space.

Creating in bulk is a new process for me, and the uncertainty of supply and demand is a daunting thought! Rendering beef suet into tallow is not a quick process, it takes patience and time, and I will not sacrifice quality to create a quick product. Bear with me if something is not available, I will do my best to make sure everything is in stock.

Many tallow products are made from deodorized pre-rendered suet that are bought in gallon buckets with unknown origin or quality of the tallow. I source grass fed suet directly from local farms near me. I see the cows, I know how they are treated and raised, and I am proud to make amazing skincare products from them.

If you buy my products, I hope you enjoy them. Everything is thoughtfully made as if it was made for my family.

Tallow is not for everyone. It is definitely not like the products you find in stores. I hope you try it and learn to love it as much as I do!
